| Kutmusic è lieta di riproporre in formato digitale un disco mai ripubblicato da oltre 40 anni! Originariamente apparso nel 1977 ma apparentemente registrato almeno un paio di anni prima, l’LP “Dorian” avrebbe dovuto lanciare Kenneth “Dorian” Passante (1948-1994) come artista glam rock (o dovremmo dire proto-punk?). Il nome Dorian Zero (con diverse varianti come Dorian & Zero, Dorian Zero Revue e via dicendo) era riferito alla band, ma sembra spesso associato solamente alla sua persona. L’album e un singolo che ne fu estratto furono anche documentati da John Holmstrom in una memorabile – e disastrosa – intervista su Punk Magazine n.14 (1978). Omettendo di citare gli altri musicisti coinvolti nella realizzazione dell’LP – incluso il chitarrista Jeff Beck in “Destination Nowhere” e “Inside Looking Out” – Dorian arriva a dichiarare nella copertina dell’album originale: “Per questo album non ringrazio nessuno tranne me”. |

The name Dorian Zero (with different variations such as Dorian & Zero, Dorian Zero Revue and so on) was his band name, but seems to also stick to his own persona.
