Originally released in 1962, this album showcases the talents of American combo The Four Saints (not to be confused with another band of the same name that in those years was somewhat popular in Italy). The quartet including Doug Evans, John Howell, Jerry DuChene and Bob Erickson was formed in high school and after winning a school talent contest went on playing together for years in clubs and hotels, spending four years as a special unit of the United States Air Force Band (until May 1961), recording albums and singles for both their own label and for other labels including Warner Bros. |
