A multi-skilled artist and composer, known for his harmonica playing but also for guitar and whistling, Toots Thielemans (Jean-Baptiste Frédéric Isidor, Baron Thielemans) started his career with the Benny Goodman band in 1949 and retired only in 2014, two years before his death at age 94.
Here we remember Toots Thielemans with one of his early recordings with his Quartet, also featuring organist Billy Desmedt.
