“Bosco” è il nuovo singolo di Domenico Imperato per Kutmusic. Il brano segue il precedente singolo “Sentimentale”, che ha risuonato durante tutta l’estate. Con “Bosco” comincia un nuovo episodio musicale accompagnato dalla preziosa cover dello street artist Millo. “Bosco” nasce da alcuni appunti scritti durante una permanenza a Lisbona, seconda casa dell’artista, diventati in seguito la prima strofa. La canzone racconta proprio di questa città così magica, dei suoi ritmi lenti per una metropoli europea, del suo azzurro fiume-oceano e delle sue strade dove ci si può perdere come dentro un Bosco. Della sua atmosfera malinconica e inquieta, in bilico tra la tristezza e l’allegria. Il brano si rivela però raccontare anche un’altra città, sempre con la metafora della giungla urbana: “In tal senso, ci rivedo anche altre città italiane e in particolar modo la mia Pescara. Anche a qui a Pescara c’è un fiume che “piano muore nell’imbuto del mare”. Mi affascina molto questo secondo livello di lettura, mi piace pensare che ogni persona ascoltando Bosco possa ritrovarsi e immedesimarsi pensando alla città in cui vive e balla con la sua inquietudine. Musicalmente, “Bosco” incastra groove e qualche nuance reggae, in una scrittura moderna e sperimentale: “ho pensato a tanta musica straniera ma anche ad alcuni artisti dell’attuale scena musicale italiana, tra cui Liberato, Colapesce, Dimartino, Giorgio Poi”. La release è impreziosita dalla collaborazione con l’artista Millo, nata in maniera spontanea. I due artisti si sono trovati in sintonia su una storia e una linea poetica comune ai lavori di entrambi. Il quadro scelto per la cover di “Bosco” è “When the world was upside-down”, attualmente esposto nella Volery Gallery di Dubai, che raffigura dall’alto questa ragazzina in volo su un’altalena in mezzo ai palazzi di una metropoli. “Bosco” is the new single by Domenico Imperato on Kutmusic. The song follows the previous single “Sentimentale”, which resonated throughout the summer. “Bosco” is the start of a new musical episode, accompanied by the precious cover by street artist Millo. “Bosco” (“Forest”) comes from some notes written during a stay in Lisbon, the artist’s second home, which later became the first verse. The song tells of this very magical city, of its slow rhythms for a European metropolis, of its blue river/ocean and its streets where you can get lost as in a forest. Of its melancholy and restless atmosphere, poised between sadness and happiness. However, the passage also reveals another city, always with the metaphor of the urban jungle: “In a way, I also see other Italian cities in it, especially my own Pescara. Even here in Pescara there is a river that “slowly dies in the funnel of the sea”. I am very fascinated by this second level of reading, I like to think that people listening to “Bosco” can identify themselves thinking about the city in which they live and dance with their own restlessness. Musically, “Bosco” combines groove and some reggae nuances, in a modern and experimental composition: “I thought of a lot of foreign music but also of some artists of the current Italian music scene, including Liberato, Colapesce, Dimartino, Giorgio Poi “. The release is enhanced by a spontaneous collaboration with artist Millo. The two artists found themselves in harmony on a story and a common poetic line in their works. The painting chosen for the cover of “Bosco” is “When the world was upside-down”, currently exhibited in the Volery Gallery in Dubai, depictings this little girl flying from above on a swing in in the midst of the buildings of a metropolis.
